Kronospan Chooses VideoActive for Video Production

VideoActive made Kronospan's first contractor induction programme 15 years ago. During its life, the programme has been updated on numerous occasions and has been used to train thousands of contractors. In 2010, the decision was taken to remake the programme from scratch, to give it a fresh wide-screen appeal. The new content would give high priority to the contractors' role in protecting the environment, and the tests of understanding were now to be delivered from within the DVD rather than externally, making it a true interactive experience.

Kellogg has been relying on VideoActive for over twenty years. VideoActive interactive DVDs are a well established part of the induction process for all contractors, employees and visitors to the Kellogg Wrexham plant.

In 2011 we are producing a new Safety Training Video about two men who suffered life changing injuries in accidents that occurred outside work. Down To Earth follows the difficult and sometimes harrowing stories of the two men, one of whom fell out of a tree, inspiring the programme's title.

It shows the way in which support from their work colleagues and from Kelloggs has helped them back to being able to make a positive contribution to the workplace.
