PLATFORM HUMPS

The BCMGRC platform hump gives wheelchair users access to trains. At the moment the train floor on London Underground is higher than the platform by 100mm or more. The platform hump, made up of 600 x 600 GRC tiles is installed with slopes at either end which brings the platform to the same level as the train. This is also useful for parents with pushchairs and wheely suitcases.
